About Us
Mufti Muhammad Aaqib۔ Mufti Muhammad Aaqib is a Pakistani Islamic scholar, jurist, educator, researcher, lecturer, and community leader whose work combines the classical tradition of Islamic scholarship with contemporary education and digital learning. For nearly two decades, he has remained actively engaged in teaching, research, Islamic legal guidance, Qur'anic studies, academic development, and community service, while also contributing to educational technology, digital publishing, and online learning.
Born on 10 April 1986, he completed the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum at Jamia Farooqia, Shah Faisal Town, Karachi, in 2008 before pursuing advanced studies in Islamic Jurisprudence (Takhassus fi al-Fiqh) at Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak, graduating in 2011. His academic training includes Islamic jurisprudence, principles of jurisprudence, Qur'anic exegesis, Hadith studies, Arabic language, theology, and the classical disciplines of Islamic scholarship.
Alongside his religious education, he obtained a professional qualification in Homeopathic Medicine from Mohammadiya College, Lahore. Although he previously practiced as a homeopathic physician, he later discontinued clinical practice in order to devote himself entirely to teaching, scholarly research, religious guidance, and educational leadership.
Since 2008, Mufti Muhammad Aaqib has continuously served in the field of education through seminaries, colleges, and online platforms. His teaching encompasses the Qur'an, Tafsir, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Arabic language, and other Islamic sciences, with particular emphasis on analytical thinking, authentic textual understanding, and the practical application of Islamic knowledge in contemporary society.
Since 2017, he has served as a Lecturer at Quaid-e-Azam Group of Colleges, Mardan, where he contributes to teaching, curriculum planning, academic supervision, examination development, and faculty support.
He is the founder and director of Darul Uloom Tarkai, where he also serves as Imam and Khateeb. The institution functions as a centre for Islamic education, Qur'anic studies, public religious guidance, and community development. In addition to regular academic programs, he delivers ongoing Qur'anic Tafsir lectures and educational seminars attended by students and members of the wider community, both onsite and online.
Islamic legal consultation and juristic research constitute a significant part of his scholarly work. Individuals regularly seek his guidance on matters relating to worship, family law, inheritance, financial transactions, and contemporary legal questions. His legal opinions and written fatwas are prepared through careful reference to the Qur'an, Sunnah, the Hanafi legal tradition, and recognized classical authorities, while taking contemporary circumstances into consideration.
A distinctive feature of his academic work is the study of contemporary intellectual challenges facing Muslim societies. His research addresses questions relating to atheism, secular thought, modern ideological trends, and criticisms directed toward Islam. Through structured research, logical analysis, and the principles of Islamic theology and jurisprudence, he seeks to present academically grounded and accessible responses. To further this objective, he conducts specialised online and onsite training programmes designed to equip students, researchers, and religious educators with the skills required to understand and respond to modern intellectual debates responsibly.
His educational activities also extend to language instruction. He teaches Arabic language, Arabic grammar (Nahw and Sarf), English grammar, and spoken English through structured courses offered both online and in classroom settings. These programmes are intended to strengthen students' linguistic competence, improve academic communication, and enable direct engagement with classical Islamic texts and contemporary scholarly literature.
Beyond teaching and research, Mufti Muhammad Aaqib remains actively involved in community leadership and social reconciliation. At Darul Uloom Tarkai, he supervises a community mediation council dedicated to resolving family disputes, social disagreements, and community conflicts through dialogue, reconciliation, and the principles of Islamic justice. He considers reconciliation, ethical leadership, and public service to be essential responsibilities of religious scholarship alongside education and legal guidance.
Recognising the growing role of technology in education and communication, he has also developed professional expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Professional Backlink Building, Digital Marketing, Online Business Development, and Educational Technology. Through these services, he assists educational institutions, businesses, and digital platforms in strengthening their online presence while promoting authentic educational content.
He is also the founder of Aaqib Online Quran Academy, an educational initiative established to provide accessible and authentic Islamic education to students across the world through both online and onsite learning. The academy offers structured instruction in Qur'anic studies, Tajweed, Hifz, Tafsir, Islamic jurisprudence, Arabic language, and related Islamic sciences.
The work of Mufti Muhammad Aaqib is guided by a commitment to authentic scholarship, academic integrity, intellectual balance, responsible religious leadership, and meaningful community service. His broader vision is to preserve the rich legacy of classical Islamic learning while engaging constructively with the intellectual, educational, and technological realities of the modern world, thereby contributing to the development of informed individuals, stronger communities, and a more thoughtful understanding of Islam.
